Are you an experienced Medicaid Eligibility Specialist looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company in Dade City, FL?

Daily Responsibilities of the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist: Visit patients in the hospital & bedside to pre-screen for qualifying criteria of various Federal & State Medicaid/Social Security Administration (SSA) & County / HCRA programs Maintain ongoing communication with various agencies throughout the application process Documentation/other paperwork as well as computerized record keeping

Requirements for the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist: HS Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience with Medicaid Prequalification Familiarity with medical terminology Strong typing, communication, and documentation skills Able to engage with patients, nurses, and providers No visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Hours for the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:  Mon – Fri 8am-5pm
