We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Mechanical Engineer to join their fast-paced and collaborative team. This role is part of an exciting next-generation medical device platform and offers a unique blend of mechanical design and documentation ownership—ideal for someone who thrives on both engineering creativity and process precision.

Rate: $60 - $100 / hr. w2
Responsibilities: · Contribute to mechanical design of system enclosures, packaging, cabling, and overall product integration
· Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to drive forward new product development initiatives
· Translate engineering concepts into solid models, assemblies, and detailed drawings
· Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including build instructions, work instructions, and BOMs
· Ensure accurate and timely updates to device history records (DHRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and document control systems
· Work closely with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure all documentation supports product scalability and compliance
Experience Requirements: · 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design and/or documentation for electromechanical systems or medical devices
· Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
· Familiarity with document control systems and regulatory documentation processes (medical device experience a plus)
· Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
Education Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
