Job Summary
The Marketplace Content Manager role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings deep knowledge of the fashion category and digital merchandising best practices. You understand the nuances of brand identity, apparel types, condition standards, and SEO—applying that knowledge to deliver optimized, high-converting listings across both third-party marketplaces and our D2C site.
You will lead the execution of content workflows and listing accuracy at scale, working cross-functionally with Marketplace, Product, Engineering, and Operations. You’ll own the day-to-day management of our offshore team, setting the tone for quality and consistency in our listing infrastructure.
This is a highly collaborative role where attention to detail, excellent communication, and a strong POV on fashion content quality are key.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Content Ownership & Optimization
Own the content pipeline across various marketplaces, from item ingestion to listing readiness
Maintain and optimize SKU libraries, working directly with brand partners to gather high-quality product data
Own SEO-driven content improvements and product page accuracy on our D2C Shopify site
Support improvement efforts on condition tagging, taxonomy standards, and image formatting for consistency across platforms
Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to build AI based automation into processes to drive efficient scale
Team & Workflow Management
Manage offshore team, ensuring accurate distribution of work, brand-specific instructions, training and QC
Develop SOPs and scalable frameworks for listing inputs, content QA, and pricing logic
Perform brand-level aesthetic audits to ensure listings reflect the correct identity and meet platform standards
Track SKU match rates and listing accuracy through weekly reporting; resolve content gaps and blockers
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the Marketplace team to implement content enhancements and strategy adjustments by channel
Work with Product and Engineering to enhance listing tools and streamline single-SKU workflows
Serve as a liaison between brand partners and internal teams to ensure content needs are met
Support platform expansion by contributing to the rollout of new marketplaces
Pricing & Merchandising Strategy
Set initial pricing based on Marketplace direction and internal margin targets, ensuring floor pricing is upheld
Continuously refine pricing and product positioning to support channel-specific performance and business strategy
Special Projects
Lead or support ad hoc projects including onboarding new brands, testing platform-specific templates, or launching resale pilots with external partners
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in content related e-commerce or fashion merchandising roles
Prior experience managing offshore or distributed teams
Deep familiarity with apparel, accessories, and condition-based merchandising
Strong organizational and project management skills; excels at balancing competing priorities
Hands-on experience with Shopify, Google Sheets/Excel, and listing management tools (e.g., Rithum/ChannelAdvisor)
Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital merchandising principles
Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and optimizing product content for conversions
Experience working with single-SKU workflows in resale or recommerce is strongly preferred
Excellent written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
