Job Summary:


Genesis Consulting is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our clients’ Agent Broker Consumer Quality Initiative (ABCQI) team. This role involves conducting data pulls, performing detailed analysis, and writing comprehensive reports and presentations regarding Agent Broker (AB) data and activities within the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM). The Data Analyst will work closely with business and technical leads to support the initiative’s goals of improving the consumer, agent, and broker experience.


Duties and Responsibilities:


· Data Analysis:

o Collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Salesforce, Amazon Data Bricks, SAS, Redash, EDAP, Snowflake, MS Power BI, MarkLogic, XQuery, and JavaScript.

o Utilize advanced data science, statistical, and mathematics techniques to interrogate data.

o Analyze AB data to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies.

· Reporting:

o Write detailed and comprehensive reports on findings from data analysis.

o Present data in creative and visually compelling ways to effectively communicate insights.

o Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including business and technical leads.

· Collaboration:

o Work closely with the ABCQI team, including business and technical leads, to ensure data analysis aligns with project objectives.

o Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.

o Collaborate with other team members to integrate data insights into project plans and strategies.



RequirementsMinimum Qualifications/Experience:


· Experience with Marketplace data and data tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Salesforce, Amazon Data Bricks, SAS, Sandbox, Snowflake, MS Power BI and MarkLogic.

· Experience with interrogating data using advanced data science, statistical, and mathematics techniques.

· Experience with manipulating data sets to uncover trends and extract insights.

· Experience in presenting data in creative and visually compelling ways to communicate findings with data visualization tools such as Redash, MS Power BI, or Tableau.

· Proficiency in executive reporting.

· Experience with relevant data applications and tools including Splunk, NewRelic, Salesforce

· Experience with languages and tools for data science development, including Python, Scala, R, SQL, or SAS.

· Experience with Big Data development, specifically in the areas of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP).

· Familiarity with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and health insurance industry.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


Minimum Education:


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar required.
