Responsibilities

Collaborate Across Experience Levels; Work seamlessly with a diverse legal team-ranging from seasoned litigators to early-career professionals-and actively participate in cross-training initiatives to ensure continuity of client service and internal support.
Own Your Caseload: Take full ownership of assigned cases from intake through resolution. This includes preparing pleadings, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and zealously representing clients in court.
Strategically Manage Client Relationships: Communicate clearly and consistently with clients to manage expectations, explain legal processes, and maintain trust. You will also play a key role in cultivating relationships with prospective clients, contributing to the firm's reputation and growth.
Evaluate Complex Legal Matters: Analyze legal issues with precision, review and interpret pertinent documents, and develop well-reasoned strategies tailored to each case's unique circumstances.
Resolve Matters in the Client's Best Interest: Exhibit unwavering dedication to client outcomes. Use sound judgment and creative problem-solving to achieve resolutions that align with client goals, while upholding the highest ethical standards.
Lead and Mentor Legal Support Staff: Provide leadership to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring team alignment, legal accuracy, and procedural efficiency. Delegate appropriately while fostering professional growth within the team.
Commit to In-Office Engagement: Operate exclusively on-site in our Miramar, Florida office to fully engage with colleagues and clients, foster camaraderie, and uphold the integrity of our collaborative firm culture. Remote work on a hybrid basis.

•Exhibits flexibility and adaptability when assessing and managing cases, embracing innovative legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
Proven Trial Experience: Must possess a confident courtroom presence, with demonstrable success in evidentiary hearings and full trials. Trial acumen is non-negotiable.
Exceptional Judgment: Exercises sound legal and strategic judgment under pressure, consistently acting in the client's best interest while adhering to ethical obligations.
Mastery of Court Procedure: Must possess a comprehensive understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Family Law Rules, and local judicial practices.
Advanced Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate settlements effectively-both in and out of the courtroom-balancing assertiveness with diplomacy.
Articulate and Persuasive Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential, with an ability to draft compelling pleadings and present clear, persuasive arguments.
Mediation and Settlement Experience: Must be adept at managing mediation and settlement conferences with professionalism and focus on practical resolution.
Professional Networking Skills: At a minimum, candidates should be able to maintain professional relationships and participate in firm-sponsored or community-based networking events.
Deposition Experience Preferred: Prior experience taking and defending depositions is highly valued.
Florida Bar Membership: Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Florida.
