Manufacturing Quality Engineer

In this impactful role, you'll collaborate across departments to design, implement, and sustain robust quality systems while driving a culture of operational excellence. You'll take the lead on problem-solving, audits, and process development - ensuring everything we make meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive root cause investigations to resolution.
- Design, document, and improve processes and production layouts for both new and existing products.
- Lead quality control initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct process audits, inspections, and quality data reviews to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and other teams to enhance product quality from start to finish.
- Support customer satisfaction by responding to feedback and ensuring timely issue resolution.
- 5-7 years of quality-related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with root cause analysis, statistical tools, and process mapping
- Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality systems and standards
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with quality certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Experience with digital collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Proficient in developing and leading training programs
- Experience with quality management software
- Strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy and precision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Capable of quick movements including reaching, bending, twisting, and squatting
- You're dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented
- You bring a positive attitude and collaborative mindset
- You thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing setting
