Maintenance Manager
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing operations within the Maintenance department. This includes managing department budgets, scheduling, planning, and ensuring efficient manpower utilization. You will also be instrumental in implementing effective quality systems, training and developing human resources, and administering plant policies and procedures. Your role will involve promoting continual improvement and achieving both plant and department goals while monitoring and maintaining safety, health, and environmental programs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Production managers for machine availability to perform maintenance activities.
- Communicate with Production Material Control Planner to assess feasibility of shutting down line.
- Coordinate modifications, fabrications, process changes, and training issues with the Engineering department.
- Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and technicians during maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment activities and communicate with all departments.
- Coordinate and direct predictive and productive maintenance programs such as tool wear, optimization of uptime, fluid analysis, infrared monitoring, and vibration analysis.
- Oversee building maintenance activities and manage outside contractors.
- Participate in hiring processes and conduct employee performance evaluations for the Maintenance Department.
- Identify training needs, coordinate training activities, and provide job counseling.
- Approve requisitions, monitor costs, and investigate excessive costs.
- Facilitate on-site and off-site training and develop electrical/electronic and hydraulic skills among department employees.
- Perform Tiered Safety Audits, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental training.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance techniques, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance management, supervision, pneumatics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform PLC troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to coordinate CapEx and manage department costs.

The position is based in a manufacturing facility currently operating 7 days a week. The role involves working closely with various departments, and adherence to safety and sustainability standards is a priority.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Sedalia, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
Direct hire role so full benefits for the employees.

This is a fully onsite position in Sedalia,MO.
