Manager, Reporting & Insights, Agency

As the Manager of Reporting & Insights, you will be responsible for generating insights about campaign performance across key business categories. You'll support both internal and external partners by leveraging media delivery, performance, and first-party data to create actionable insights for Best Buy Ads and our clients' advertising campaigns. This role includes direct management responsibilities for a team. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at a Best Buy Ads office in Midtown Manhattan and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage client measurement deliverables for agency partners and clients, and contribute to Best Buy Ads initiatives and analyses as required
  • Develop measurement frameworks and joint business plans (JBPs) that align measurement with clients' and agencies' business objectives, goals, and outcomes
  • Work with cross-functional sales, product, and data teams to use data and analysis for sales and media planning, develop data-driven media executions, optimize media performance, and provide recommendations for future strategies
  • Act as the main contact for client measurement, guiding internal and external partners in interpreting media data and applying analytics
  • Analyze large datasets to identify performance drivers
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to support a collaborative, results-focused team

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, measurement, marketing consulting, or other relevant experience
  • Experience working with modern analytics frameworks, methodologies, and tools
  • 1+ years of experience in Client Relationship Management

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working with advertising agencies and their holding companies
  • Understanding of marketing analytics methods, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), A/B testing, or incrementality experimentation
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Cloud Platforms, BigQuery, Tableau, Excel, Copilot)
  • Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or R programming languages
  • Understanding of ad-serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, SA360, DV360, Meta Ads) and cross-channel ad-serving dynamics
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to set internal and external goals
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver client presentations to audiences across levels
