The Manager, Epic A mbulatory Applications oversees the management of the Epic A mbulatory Applications team, with oversight over the following Epic systems: EpicCare Ambulatory EMR (including Bones Orthopaedics , Kaleidoscope Ophthalmology, Urgent Care), EpicCare Link Healthy Planet, Dorothy Home Care and Comfort Hospice , MyChart, and Willow Ambulatory Pharmacy . This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Epic software applications across the healthcare organization . This role will work closely with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient use of the Epic system to improve patient care, workflow efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Experience

• Strong understanding of ambulatory applications and workflows  

• Proven leadership and team management skills to handle multiple projects and delegate to and direct staff  

• Strong management skills to oversee daily operations of the Epic application team, including system maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, testing and support  

• Ability to l ead the implementation of new Epic modules and upgrades, ensuring timely and successful project completion  

• Ability to prioritize work efforts and adapt in a fast-paced environment  

• Ability t o provide support to their application analysts, managers must understand the issues and workflows in their area well enough to represent their users' needs to Epic  

• Ability to set clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of the project  

• A bility to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts  

• Collaboration skill s to work with clinical and operational leadership to assess needs, translate workflows into Epic functionality, and provide strategic guidance  

• Demonstrating flexibility with respect to changing end ‐ user business needs  

• The ability to gain trust and establish effective relationships with Epic counterparts  

• The ability to persevere in difficult situations , overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
