Apply Area of Interests Facilities Full-Time/Part Time Full-time Job Description The purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end operations of both mailroom and document imaging functions, leading a team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant handling of physical and electronic documents. This position supports organizational efficiency by optimizing mail processing, document storage, and retrieval systems while maintaining regulatory compliance and service standards.
Position Location: This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.
What you do:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mail, including sorting, opening, delivering, and preparing mail and packages.
Ensure compliance with all United States Postal Service regulations and guidelines as well as maintaining records of all mail and package movement, postage costs and other relevant data.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize mailroom efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate all mailings with each business area, document management team and external mailing contractor.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of image operations, including scanning, classifying indexing, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Mange the capturing, storing, and managing of electronic documents, ensuring efficient access, security, and compliance for the organization.
Establish and maintain an efficient document control system, including organizing, categorizing, and indexing both physical and electronic documents.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct needs assessments to identify document management requirements of departments and end users.
Implement electronic document processing, retrieval, and distribution systems in collaboration with the IT document management team
What you bring:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
4-7 years of related experience required.
2-4 years of supervisory experience is required.
