Summary of Position
This position will oversee the people and processes to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the Completions Team including workover operations. This position is accountable for the successful implementation of the corporate strategy through collaborative planning and execution with the other Managers, Directors, and VPs. This role will work in unison to build plans that meet the Company's development and growth objectives. This role works collaboratively other with cross-functional Managers and Supervisors as needed to support the Operation Teams. This position requires a broad and strong operations background as well as an understanding of the engineering / geological and business drivers behind successful oil and gas development and extraction. The person in this role is expected to have very strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Job Responsibilities
Accountable for tracking and meeting capital budgets for the approved development plans. Manages all completions activities and is responsible for the supervision of (+/-) 10 employees plus the contractor base supporting the program. Work closely with subsurface and development teams for successful execution of completion activities aligned with development strategy for the region. Work closely with other operations and engineering teams to meet Production and LOE targets. Provides leadership and mentoring to direct and indirect reports. Lead procurement activities as they relate to the drilling and completion program. Coordinate all pre-spud pad planning activities. Accountable to ensure graphs, charts, and reports for tracking and presentations are created and maintained. Meet deadlines and advance multiple projects concurrently as needed. AFE generation and tracking Regular visits to and co-location in the field. Continuously evaluate use of latest technologies and implement as needed to ensure safe and efficient operations. Builds strong relationships with community and stakeholders. Empower individuals and teams while removing roadblocks to drive changes in operations (to improve reliability, reduce cost, lower risk) and work collaboratively with necessary teams to implement changes. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with vendors and internal departments. Communicates with Sr. Management to identify risks and resolve operation issues. Provides career and individual development opportunities for team members. Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with CIVI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements. Assure work performed adheres to CIVI standards. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or in engineering, e.g., petroleum or related field or expected equivalent in experience required. Master's degree a plus. Minimum of 10 years' experience in drilling engineering and operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, leveraging advanced tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows. Proven experience with economics and detailed technical analysis required. Possesses valuable knowledge in other oil and gas business functions (Production, Reserves, Accounting, Geoscience, Regulatory, Land Operations, etc.), further enhancing cross-functional collaboration and understanding. Travel & Additional Requirements : Location: Work is performed at a CIVI location Monday through Thursday with the option of working remotely on Fridays. Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and 4-hour workdays on Friday, as business needs allow and with manager approval. Base Pay Range: $225,000 - $247,500
