The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa
AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women's services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

The role you'll contribute:
The Maintenance Technician III's goal is to perform tasks, including dealing with equipment in cooperation with all staff members in assisting with safe and effective patient care. Performs any other duties as assigned and directed by the Facilities Supervisor in compliance with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the facility. The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for adhering to the Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Individual responds promptly to all calls for emergency repairs. Takes care of any duty assignments that may arise to an emergency situation. Is available for on call. Responds to any hazards and/or emergency situations as the situation requires; maintains universal precautions.
Provides analysis and coordination of vendors, contractors and other resources for root cause analysis of repeat failures. Provides recommendations, strategies and priorities to address repeat failures.
Assumes supervisor role as needed. Performs all duties as required (time keeping, prioritization, CMMS administration, scheduling, etc.
Provides guidance and priority setting for work orders, engineering staff and minor projects.
Provides oversight and auditing of work order completion and work conducted by staff to ensure repairs are done correctly to minimize repeat work.
Qualifications:
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equiv Required.
7 years Work Experience.
Driver's License (DL) Required.
