Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 2-3 Days Onsite, F2F Interview Required) Duration - Contract

Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to analyze large, complex datasets and develop advanced machine learning solutions that drive business impact. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python-based ML ecosystems, big data technologies, and production model deployment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Design, develop, train, and validate advanced machine learning models and algorithms. Work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. Deploy and optimize ML models in production environments. Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model performance tuning. Communicate insights, model results, and recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders. Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in machine learning and data science.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning roles. Strong proficiency in: Python Pandas NumPy Scikit-Learn PySpark

Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques. Experience working with large-scale datasets. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern ML frameworks: PyTorch TensorFlow

Experience with big data technologies (PySpark preferred). Experience with cloud platforms: AWS Azure GCP

Experience deploying ML models in production environments. Strong data visualization and storytelling skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
