Low Voltage / Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage / Electrical Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and manage the day-to-day operations of electrical and low voltage systems on commercial construction projects. This role requires expertise in electrical infrastructure, fire alarm systems, structured cabling, access control, and CCTV systems.
Reports to: Senior Project Manager or Project Executive
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage project teams through planning, execution, and project closeout phases.
Oversee all low voltage and electrical installations including scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
Administer project contracts and ensure all subcontractor agreements are upheld.
Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
Establish, monitor, and manage project schedules and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate procurement of materials, manage logistics, and ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct regular QA/QC inspections and maintain safety standards.
Track project costs, issue change orders, and provide regular budget updates.
Facilitate and document project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.
Promote the use of emerging technology to improve project execution and productivity.
Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to assigned staff.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience managing electrical and low voltage systems in commercial or multifamily construction.
Strong understanding of electrical code, fire alarm standards, and structured cabling systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on teamwork and mentorship.
OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Regular presence on active construction sites; exposure to outdoor weather, elevated noise levels, mechanical equipment, and electrical components.
Ability to climb ladders, navigate uneven surfaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
