STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Logistics Supervisor to join the team.

This position is primarily responsible for supervising the warehouse staff to ensure materials are reaching the floor timely, accurately, and consistently as well as in a safe organized manner. This role will also serve as back-up to shipping as needed.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Promote a safe work environment for all staff members
• Oversee warehouse staff - maintain workforce through coaching, training, mentoring, performance reviews, and discipline as needed
• Communicate shortages and anticipated problems with production planners
• Accurately and timely enter daily receipts of goods and services in database
• Expedite deliver of goods and services as needed
• Participate in all meetings are required
• Assist with physical inventory
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
• Consistently, regularly, and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

 

Qualifications

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
