The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physician for a 60-day assignment in OR, starting Jun 22, 2026. This role involves 4 days of clinic during the week plus 1-2 nights on call, with weekend call from Friday 7a to Monday 7a, focusing on comprehensive women's health services including routine OB/GYN care, various clinic procedures, and managing deliveries and emergency cases during call shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide routine obstetrical and gynecological care in a clinic setting.
Perform clinic procedures including IUD removal/insertion, Nexplanon, colposcopy, LEEP, endometrial biopsy, pessary fitting/insertion, and other appropriate excisions/biopsies.
Conduct non-stress test strip assessments and potentially ultrasounds.
Manage call shifts for rural obstetrics, including in-house call for OB and deliveries, with a Level 2 nursery and ability to ship out any high-risk cases.
Perform vaginal deliveries, assisted vaginal deliveries, and Cesarean sections.
Execute procedures such as cerclages, D+Cs, D+Es, termination inductions, and pregnancy terminations.
Participate in a schedule including 4 days of clinic per week, 1-2 nights on call during the week, and weekend call from Friday 7a to Monday 7a.
Additional Information
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
The Electronic Medical Record system used is Epic.
