Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Local Contract Position: RN - Med Surg (Emergency Department) Duration:3 months of Contract with possible extension. Location: West Bloomfield, MI Shift Timing: • 1 RN Days 7a-7:30p, • 2 RN Midshift 2p-2:30a. , 1 Nights 7p-7:30a Job Summary: • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.. Required Skills & Experience: • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Education: • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
