Our Correctional Healthcare Division works with facilities in 34 states to hire for thousands of correctional healthcare roles every year. Currently, we’re helping correctional facilities in Merced, California that urgently needs Nurse Practitioners to provide care. Contract Details:

• Position: Nurse Practitioner – Correctional Nursing
• $80-$85 an hour
• 8-week contract with possibility of extension
• Shift: Day 8-5
• Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid

Requirements:

• Active California Nurse Practitioner License – Minimum 1-year prior experience – American Heart Association BLS – Corrections nursing experience is a plus – Active DEA Supplemental Health Care will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable local, state, or federal law (including San Francisco Ordinance #131192, Los Angeles Municipal Code 189.00, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act).
