Loan Servicing HMDA Specialist II The Loan Servicing HMDA Specialist II is responsible for reviewing application and loan information contained in the Loan Origination System (LOS) to determine HMDA reportability, verify whether the correct action as defined by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) for all related loans has been taken, and perform reporting on the HMDA Loan Application Registry (LAR) for applicable data points.
Essential duties and responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) requirements and the banks lending practices and procedures to perform a thorough and accurate comparative loan analysis; ensuring that lenders complete the HMDA Questionnaire within the LOS accurately; inspecting all HMDA-related fields within the LOS to ensure completion and accuracy; reporting any issues or concerns about non-compliance with HMDA regulatory requirements; collaborating in the update of HMDA policies and procedures; reviewing loan application data and credit files for accuracy in reporting consistent with the requirements of HMDA; analyzing and interpreting loan applications and related documents gathered during the loan underwriting process to decision; coordinating with various departments to resolve inconsistencies in application and loan data to recommend warranted changes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in reporting HMDA data; performing periodic HMDA information audits; completing required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned; and performing any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education and experience equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Four (4) years of related experience and/or training - Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail.
