General Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant

An established and respected South Denver law firm is seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to be a key part of a busy practice focusing on general civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, and business matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support litigation attorneys with legal research, document drafting, and motion practice
- Perform e-filing with both State and Federal courts
- Manage eDiscovery, including manual entry and use of various eDiscovery platforms
- Assist with client communication, document preparation, and file maintenance
- Track time and perform time entry for billing purposes (note: there are no billable hour requirements)
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Familiarity with e-filing systems in CO State and Federal courts
- Experience with eDiscovery tools/platforms preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate professionally and directly with clients
- Experience with protective proceedings and/or basic accounting knowledge is a plus
