Paralegal

The Paralegal is a client-dedicated role that supports the client's legal department. In this role you will serve as a Paralegal and will support the attorneys and paralegals. Together, you will deliver world-class support to multiple litigation and legal matters. You will interact with in-house counsel, and outside counsel to help collect documents in preparation of litigation. As a Paralegal, you foster a collaborative environment with a can-do attitude and a vision of excellence, inclusivity, and compassion while also being process-oriented and striving for efficiency.

3x Daily In Office presence. Location: Armonk NY

Work at direction of General Counsel and Attorneys

Initiation of claims work, research and information gathering.

Litigation matter tracking

Responsible for the initial draft of attorney response letters

Organize exhibits for depositions, hearings and trials

Additional Responsibilities/Details:

Draft hearing outlines

Schedule court reporters for depositions

Complete projects assigned by attorneys and paralegals

Support other team members with training and education to encourage best practices and high quality service

Minimum Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum Experience Requirements:

3+ years paralegal experience to support litigation team, including project management

Strong technical aptitude and interest

Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams

Experience conducting research, organizing information, drafting citations, and proofreading and editing documents

Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters and conflicting deadlines

Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner

Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others

Customer service oriented and responsive

Strong critical and analytical thinking skills

Experience in Relativity is a plus

A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, are essential
