Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate licensed teacher to join our team for 10 hours a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in childhood development, literacy education, behavior management, and curriculum development.
Duties
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance and behavior
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Early childhood education Birth-Grade 3 teaching license for the State of Vermont
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles
- Ability to effectively create a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with curriculum development and educational best practices
- Experience in tutoring or special education is a plus
- Passion for child welfare and education
