Job Summary and Qualifications The LPN Extern provides high-quality, patient-centered care. Under the supervision of registered nurses, you will assist with maintaining a safe and organized environment. Implement nursing care plans by performing both direct and indirect patient care. Document vital patient metrics such as blood pressure and blood glucose levels. Assist patients with mobility and non-medicated support care. Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms and assist with patient education. Perform clerical tasks as needed. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days of hire. Must be enrolled in LPN School. CNA certification required. No travel required.
