(formerly Person County Group Homes) is a nonprofit agency that provides residential and community-based support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). The Role

We’re hiring a Clinical Behavioral Consultant to serve as a part-time, independent contractor (1099) supporting the behavioral and psychological needs of adults with I/DD and TBI.

This role includes conducting psychological evaluations, developing behavioral support plans, and collaborating with our internal team to ensure high-quality, person-centered supports. Your clinical expertise will directly shape how individuals with complex needs receive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete psychological evaluations as requested, including interviews, assessments, and written reports
• Conduct clinical assessments and behavioral evaluations
• Develop and review Positive Behavior Support Plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
• Attend team meetings as scheduled (virtually or in person)
• Provide recommendations that align with state guidelines and best practices
• Maintain clear, timely, and professional documentation

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in North Carolina (required)
• Experience working with adults with I/DD and/or TBI
• Strong working knowledge of positive behavior supports and trauma-informed care
• Skilled in collaboration, documentation, and applied behavioral consultation
