JOB SUMMARY Wound Pros Management Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Operations Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a 1099 contract role, part- time (20- 30 hours per week).This role supports legal and compliance functions by managing healthcare-related contracts, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing legal assistance in areas such as patient rights, medical documentation, and provider agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare laws, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate alignment with Wound Pros Management Group’s core values and mission in all aspects of work.
Conduct thorough legal research using various resources to support compliance.
Manage and update legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
Facilitate the execution of contracts by obtaining necessary signatures and ensuring timely delivery to relevant parties.
Maintain the database of all company information and documents, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Interface with lawyers to consult outside counsel, providing necessary information and facilitating communication.
To ensure compliance and legal entity governance, assist in creating new entities, including drafting formation documents and filing required paperwork.
Ensure all entity information is kept current and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the legal team and contribute to Wound Pros Management Group's overall success.
Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries under attorney supervision.
File legal documents with agencies and other entities in compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
Stay informed about legal developments, procedures, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development activities.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality.
Perform additional tasks to support the legal team and meet business needs.
WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED Education A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field is required.
Paralegal certification preferred.
Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or healthcare setting.
ATTRIBUTES NEEDED FOR THE ROLE Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in legal research methods and software.
Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
Proficiency in productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Notion, G Suite, calendar management tools).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
