Hiatt Law Group is seeking an individual to join our firm as a Legal Intern in our asbestos practice area. Learning Opportunities:
Managing Case Management System: Work to maintain accurate updates, document organization, Key Date entries, and other tasks in the case management system to ensure each case is up to date. Work with attorneys and case managers on special case management system projects to update and optimize system usage. Become an individual contributor and assist the intake department by drafting form letters, and coordinate mass mailings Gain hands-on experience in corporate law, contracts, compliance, and other legal areas. Exposure to the internal workings of a legal department while working on real-world legal matters. Learn how legal teams collaborate with business units to mitigate risk and ensure compliance. Networking opportunities with legal professionals and insights into the practice of Plaintiff law and personal injury in a professional setting. Our Intern will have the following Competencies:

Must be a student currently enrolled in a 2-year paralegal program or a student currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program.
Additional Information
Pay $20/hour Where Dallas, TX (In-person), Toll Hill Office Park Credit This internship may qualify for academic credit hours subject to approval from your academic institution Hours 16 20 hours per week Schedule Internship hours will be scheduled around your class commitments each semester. We understand that academic schedules vary, and we are flexible in creating a work schedule that supports your coursework and other responsibilities o We understand that our interns are students first, and we are happy to accommodate academic obligations. If you need to take time off or adjust your schedule to study for exams or meet school-related deadlines, we are more than willing to work with you. We simply ask that you extend the professional courtesy of providing at least 24 hours notice whenever possible, so we can plan accordingly.
