About the Role
The Renegade Academy Director will oversee and lead the organizations training programs. This role involves developing strategic training initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include designing and implementing training programs, managing mentorship and leadership development, tracking training progress, and maintaining training schedules and resources. The Renegade Academy Director will also evaluate program effectiveness and collaborate with senior management to address additional training needs. The role requires a strong ability to drive engagement and foster a culture of continuous learning within the company.
Responsibilities
Lead the organization's training initiatives with a creative and innovative mindset, fostering a culture of continuous learning while driving engagement and participation.
Develop and oversee the strategic direction for leadership camps and advanced leader labs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Design, implement, facilitate, and evaluate comprehensive training programs, including professional presentations and team-building activities.
Develop, manage, and disseminate training schedules through the learning management system and internal communication channels, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
Monitor and analyze employee training data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Promote training opportunities within the company, encouraging active participation from all team members.
Assess training feedback from team members and management to identify and address training gaps and weaknesses.
Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement additional training needs.
Organize and facilitate in-house training sessions with both internal experts and external vendors.
Maintain and update internal training resources accessible to all team members.
Respond to all training-related inquiries promptly and effectively.
Lead and advocate for leadership development and mentoring programs.
Develop and manage the annual training budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in training and development, incorporating relevant innovations into the organization's training programs.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives.
Foster a collaborative environment by partnering with various departments to ensure training programs meet organizational needs.
Provide coaching and support to trainers and facilitators to enhance their delivery skills and effectiveness.
Coordinate with external training providers and institutions to bring in specialized training programs and certifications.
Lead the creation of e-learning modules and other digital training content.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in training, education, or a related leadership role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful training programs.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Demonstrated expertise in creating and delivering impactful PowerPoint presentations.
Superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative mindset.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
