We are seeking a(an) Financial Transplant Coordinator for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Financial Coordinator is responsible for collecting financial and insurance information from pre-transplant patients, verifying coverage, and obtaining required pre-certifications. Communicates with insurance and case managers. Counsels patients on financial issues surrounding the transplant. Conducts initial review of patient bills related to Transplant. Works closely with Transplant Social Worker. Communicates patient financial status with transplant team and others involved in the transplant process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years experience in Medical Billing, Insurance Authorization, Bookkeeping. Transplant Financial Coordinator Association Membership (preferred). Experience in Clinical and Financial Data Management
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
