Job Description Job Title: Medical Lab Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (14:30 - 23:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: FL State License required Certifications: ASCP preferred, pending license not accepted Must-Have: Hospital clinical lab experience, previous charge experience

Description: Position available for Medical Lab Technician. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. A valid FL State License is required at the time of submittal. ASCP certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with a pending license will not be considered. No on-call requirements for this position. Clinicians will not float within scope to meet facility needs. Weekend work is required every third weekend. Accommodations for block scheduling will be determined based on unit needs. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers. Requests for time off (RTO) must be finalized and included with submission. RTO will not be accepted after an offer is extended. Contracted hours are guaranteed. Two references from authority figures within the last year are mandatory for submission. Flu vaccine is required during the specified seasonal period, with medical or religious exemptions only. COVID-19 vaccine is also required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. All candidates should be aware of the background policy applicable prior to submission. Candidates from certain educational institutions outlined in the policy will not be accepted.
