Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law FirmsĀ®, is seeking a Senior Associate/Of Counsel/Partner Attorney to join their Labor & Employment (L&E) Litigation team. Attorneys in this role, based in Fresno, will primarily focus on single plaintiff and wage & hour class litigation.
This is a unique opportunity to take on a significant role within a well-respected practice,with no portable book of business required. The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious and eager to contribute to the firm's long-term succession plan.
Candidate Profile
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
- 5+ years of substantive experience in civil litigation
- Background in FEHA claims, agency complaints, wage & hour disputes, and related employment matters preferred
- Proven experience managing discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex cases independently
- Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and client management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex L&E litigation matters, with a focus on single plaintiff employment litigation and wage-and-hour class actions
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment compliance and risk mitigation
- Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $165,000 - $250,000, as determined by experience and market factors
- Bonus eligibility
