Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: RNs only: Cannot have a license that is on probation, suspended, or has board proceedings that are pending. Travel pairs are not supported - each clinician must apply and receive an offer separately Cannot accommodate any schedule requests Must be autonomous and able to do vag exams Needs good fetal heart monitoring skills set Must be comfortable with high risk pregnancies 3+yrs of recent strong L&D exp, travel exp preferred Preferred: RNs circulate in OR but do not scrub Patient Population (Diagnoses): 20% High Risk – Diabetics, Pre-Eclampsia, Advanced Maternal Age, low incidence of HIV & hard drug abuse. Must be competent & comfortable looking after high risk, MgSO4 infusions. IDDM, placenta Previa, maternal cardiac hx, twins, lupus. C-Sections, tubal ligations, D&C, post amnio Travelers float first Weekend Requirements: RN will be required to work 4 out of the 8 weekend shifts per schedule. There are not ‘set’ weekends in L&D Holiday Requirements: Must be available for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and 2 out of 3 summer holidays. Winter holidays are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
