Your ImpactAs a Lab Technician/Research Associate, you'll be instrumental in executing a large-scale iPSC generation project for a major pharmaceutical client - the largest undertaking in the company's history. You'll directly contribute to developing disease models that accelerate individualized medicine while gaining hands-on experience with Nobel Prize-winning reprogramming technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Execute cell culture protocols and iPSC reprogramming experiments, managing bi-weekly batch initiations with potential weekly scaling Perform molecular biology bench work including PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA/RNA isolation with meticulous attention to detail Maintain mammalian cell cultures using aseptic techniques, ensuring 100% compliance with SOPs and quality standards Support gene editing projects using CRISPR/Cas9 technology to create custom disease models for pharmaceutical research Document experimental procedures and results with exceptional organization, maintaining transparent data records for FDA-compliant environments Process multiple cell line batches simultaneously while maintaining strict scheduling and timeline adherence Assist with routine lab management duties including medium preparation, equipment maintenance, and inventory tracking Collaborate with senior scientists to ensure project milestones are met on schedule
Required Qualifications: High school diploma with biological lab experience OR Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field Hands-on mammalian cell culture experience with strong aseptic technique skills Comfort with routine, repetitive bench work requiring high attention to detail Strong organizational skills with ability to track multiple experiments simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data recording and documentation
Preferred Qualifications: Human iPSC or ESC culture experience Familiarity with molecular biology techniques (PCR, electrophoresis, transfection) Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 or other gene editing technologies Previous experience in GMP or regulated laboratory environments
