Compensation & Benefits: Initial compensation will be based on prior experience and current pay. Raises will be based on job performance. This position is NOT remote. Optional work from home 3 times a month. Health insurance and retirement options. The Firm provides paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). PLEASE NOTE: Salary range includes potential performance bonuses. Base salary will be lower, but total compensation will be at least in the range listed, if not higher, depending on the candidate's and team's performance. Meaning: YOU are in control of making more money! Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 yearly Responsibilities: Conducting initial consultations, devising strategies, and emphasizing the value of services Delegating work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitoring their work Preparing documents for estate plans, leading and participating in final meetings with clients Drafting, drafting, drafting Assist with marketing by networking, writing articles, and conducting speaking engagements Must use Oxford Comma and pay great attention to detail in the spelling of names of team members and clients Qualifications: Our Preferred Candidate: Is an active member of the State Bar of Texas No experience in estate planning is necessary Has the capacity to handle cases and clients independently (after an extensive period of orientation, training, and monitoring work) Shows compassion when dealing with clients and has a talent for winning their confidence and respect Someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with a thriving practice Is willing to work hard to see that clients receive top-notch service and results We are looking for someone who has character, intelligence, and integrity, and someone who contributes positively to the atmosphere within the office No one who takes themselves too seriously or thinks that scanning a document is beneath them and will wash their own coffee cup Someone who believes in civil rights and equality for all About Company We are a diverse, progressive-minded, woman-owned law firm with a passion for helping people from all walks of life, whether they are families, individuals, or parents, who identify as LGBTQ, no matter their net worth, age, or stage of life.
