Our client, a premier AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a skilled mid-level Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join its high-performing Litigation Practice Group in San Francisco (link removed) This is a standout opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes patent, trade secrets, and commercial disputes for cutting-edge clients in the high technology, software, digital media, and semiconductor industries.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
34 years of substantive experience in intellectual property litigation , with a focus on patent and trade secrets disputes (link removed)> Technical Background : A degree in Engineering , Physics , or Computer Science is strongly preferred.
PTAB Experience: Experience with inter partes review (IPR) petitions is highly desirable.
USPTO : Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office is preferred , but not required.
Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated firm preferred (link removed)> Soft Skills: Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex matters effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Represent technology , software , and digital media clients in sophisticated patent and trade secrets litigation in federal courts and before the ITC (link removed)> Draft pleadings , motions , and briefs in complex IP matters, and assist in all phases of litigation from discovery through trial and appeal.
Prepare and prosecute inter partes review petitions and other proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Provide strategic counseling to clients on intellectual property enforcement and defense strategies (link removed)> Collaborate across practice groups to deliver integrated and innovative legal solutions.

Compensation & Benefits</strong>
Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $260,000 $310,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
