Responsibilities
Summerlin Hospital
is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. Job Description: Responsible for performing cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program. Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six (6) months.
Experience: 1-year experience in cardiac Cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates. Technical Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cardiovascular procedures. License/Certification: ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS required. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
