Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Internal Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. Duties Write Internal Repair Orders, coordinate with Used Car Manager and Technicians, build and communicate repair estimates, follow-up on the progress of repairs, and update service repairs Provide detailed explanations of services required, including brake repair, oil changes, and other maintenance tasks. Utilize automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Prepare service estimates and manage service writing effectively to ensure clarity. Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow up with post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used. Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and service techniques to provide knowledgeable advice. Qualifications Previous experience in automotive service is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brake repair, oil change procedures, and general maintenance. Excellent sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate recommendations. Proficiency in auto estimating and service management software is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. A valid driver's license is required.
