Responsibilities Oversee daily operations including marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and community outreach Collaborate with local organizations such as schools, agricultural groups, and chambers of commerce to create partnership opportunities Utilize social media and local media to promote community efforts and client success stories Organize, volunteer at, or sponsor community events Qualifications Insurance and sales experience a plus 5+ years in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience a plus Strong ability to communicate and problem-solve Some knowledge of farming or agricultural background Proven track record of being a self-starter Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) Compensation $66,000+ at plan About Western Community Insurance - Farm Bureau Mutual On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded an insurance company.
