Looking to get your foot in the door in the automotive industry? Staffmark is hiring Inspectors to join a leading manufacturing facility in Dayton, OH. This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to learn.
Pay & Schedule:
$16.00/hour
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available (Schedules will be discussed during the interview)
As an Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of automotive components - including steering columns - by checking for defects, inconsistencies, and proper assembly. You'll be standing throughout the shift, using your eyes and hands to carefully inspect parts before they reach the customer.
Responsibilities:
Visually inspect a variety of automotive parts and assembled steering columns
Identify and report defects or inconsistencies
Work independently while meeting daily inspection goals
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
Entry-level candidates welcome; some inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
