Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN) This position is part of the Defense Media Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for IT security in support of organization Mission Networks and Systems. Responsibilities include: Analyzing and evaluating current and future operational, technical, and data views of agency enterprise and Cloud IT architecture. Developing cloud architecture plans supporting organization plans and strategic direction. Reviewing and comparing DoD CLOUD IT Architecture requirements versus anticipated corporate, commodity, and customer needs. Formulating strategies for achieving objectives and monitoring projects and studies. Developing milestones to ensure compliance with policies and recommending policy changes. Liaison/supervisor of integrated project teams to develop plans for new or enhanced systems. Providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on critical Information Assurance (IA) issues. Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-13, you must fulfill the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: providing expert technical advice on critical Information Assurance (IA) issues, maintaining an organization information system-level Information Assurance (IA) program, and analyzing complex information security problems. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations. In addition to meeting qualifications, your application package must reflect the applicable experience to meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 2210 series. You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following four competencies: Attention to Detail Customer Service Oral Communication Problem Solving Education substitution may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
