Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Responsible for installing, adjusting, wiring, and repairing equipment in compliance with the current NEC and local code requirements. All work must meet or exceed the current NEC standards.
Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, terminating motors and devices (sensors, controls, VFD's, etc.)
Working knowledge/understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, distribution control, fluidic, and electrical systems/components and operation
Perform necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts: assemble, install, adjustments, and evaluate
Execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment
Maintain detailed records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usage via CMMS
Perform equipment overhauling, including rebuilding and fabrication as needed
Preferred Skills: Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic blueprints, schematics, and engineering documents.
Manual dexterity, frequently squat, bend, climb and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Education and Preferred Qualifications: Mechanical and fabrication/welding experience is a plus
Dependable initiative-taker
Experience in a food plant, with knowledge of GMP's and SQF requirements is a plus
High speed packaging equipment experience a plus
