Description: Job Title : I&E Installation Technician (Instrumentation & Electrical) Location : Iberia, Louisiana Compensation : Hourly pay with overtime opportunities (no per diem)

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced I&E Installation Technician with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry. This position involves building and installing PLC panels, MCP panels, junction boxes, distribution panels, transformers, fire and gas systems, and ESD systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of control systems, electrical drawings, and installation standards, with a focus on safety, quality, and precision. Key Responsibilities : Panel and System Installation : Build and install PLC panels, MCP panels, junction boxes, distribution panels, and transformers. Install fire and gas systems, ESD systems, and Burner Management Systems (BMS).

Conduit and Tray Work : Run and install aluminum tray, galvanized conduit, and grounding systems according to specifications.

Drawing Interpretation and Redlining : Read and interpret control system drawings, electrical power one-lines, and P&ID diagrams. Redline drawings during installation to reflect as-built conditions and provide accurate documentation.

System Integration : Ensure proper integration of instrumentation and electrical systems within the project scope. Test and troubleshoot systems to confirm functionality and compliance with project requirements.

Compliance and Safety : Adhere to NEC standards, industry codes, and company safety protocols. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.

Collaboration and Reporting : Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to meet project deadlines. Provide progress updates and address any technical issues during installation.

Qualifications : Experience : Minimum of 7+ years in I&E installation, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

Skills : Proficiency in building and installing control and distribution panels, fire and gas systems, and BMS. Strong knowledge of aluminum tray, galvanized conduit, grounding systems, and associated tools. Expertise in reading and redlining control system drawings, electrical power one-lines, and P&IDs.

Requirements : Must pass a background check and drug screening. Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor environments.
