Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

Status: Full Time
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
Summary/Objective
The human resource assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Answers phones and greets visitors for the HR department.
Assists candidates with the online application process.
Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
Assists with new-employee orientations.
Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
Prepares job postings. Schedules interviews.
Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
Assists the CHRO with HR projects.
Assists with benefits administration.
Assists with reports and audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, plus one year of office/clerical support or experience working with employees.

Iroquois Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed hospital located in Watseka, Illinois. The hospital facility is comprised of clinical and diagnostic services which are dedicated to providing high quality health care services to the community. These services include but are not limited to an Emergency Room, full service OR suites, an inpatient care unit, therapy services, advanced medical imaging, Home Health, and Hospice Care. The hospital operates rural health clinics in Watseka, IL, Gilman, IL, Milford, IL, Saint Anne, IL and Kentland, IN. The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
