New graduates: Structured preceptor program led by experienced respiratory therapists who help you build confidence in advanced skills from day oneExperienced RTs: Clinical ladder with a defined path from staff therapist to senior and lead rolesSpecialty credentialing support: Pursue certifications in ECMO, adult critical care, neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, and pulmonary function testingStep into a preceptor role and help shape the next generation of respiratory therapistsWhat You'll Do as a Respiratory TherapistAdminister therapeutic gases, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, and the full range of respiratory treatmentsPerform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertions, mini-BALs, chest physiotherapy, and CPRConduct comprehensive patient assessments and adjust therapy based on clinical responseRespond to rapid response and code events across ICU, Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and inpatient unitsCollaborate with pulmonologists, intensivists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomesDocument all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the medical recordAssociate's Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor's preferred~ Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required~ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required within 1 year of hire~1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply~ Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) working toward RRT credentialing will be considered~ Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first approach to patient care
