High School/ Youth Ministry Coordinator (PT), All Saints, Haverhill, MA

HOURS: 5 hours/week, average - hours vary by liturgical season/event
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and execute Youth Ministry program for teens in grades 9-12
- Plan and run teen Bible studies
- Plan and run teen "Pizza & Prayer" event once a month
- Orchestrate XLT Prayer and Worship Nights, including providing music
- Manage and coordinate CORE Team volunteers, including CORE Team meetings - once per month and as necessary before events
- Submit bulletin announcements, social media and website content, Mass announcements as necessary to promote All Saints' Youth Ministry activities
- Maintain regular communications with teens, families, and volunteers through Flocknote
- Help to organize and be in attendance at teen retreats, service and social events
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Catholic in good standing, practicing and faithful to the Sacraments, with a love of the Catholic Faith and a desire to contribute to the mission of the Church
- Music Ministry skills: guitar and vocals preferred
- Strong desire to bring teens closer to Christ
- Unwavering commitment to ensure a safe environment
- Trained in VIRTUS: Protecting God's Children or willingness to be trained
- Srong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills
- Solidly competent with all Office 365 programs
- Strong service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
