We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who has a passion for machinery, problem-solving, and is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy construction equipment in the field, ensuring that our projects continue to run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
As a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing regular diagnostic tests on heavy construction equipment to identify any mechanical problems. 2. Carrying out necessary repairs and replacements on faulty parts of the machinery. 3. Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems of the heavy equipment. 4. Conducting regular inspections on the heavy equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. 5. Providing technical support and advice to our team and clients on equipment maintenance and operation. 6. Keeping up-to-date logs of services and repairs for each piece of equipment. 7. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards when carrying out duties. 8. Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician. 2. Extensive knowledge and experience in hydraulic and electrical systems. 3. Proven ability in diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. 5. Ability to work independently in the field and make critical decisions. 6. Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. 7. Ability to work under pressure and in various weather conditions. 8. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 9. A relevant certification or diploma in a related field is preferred.
