Job Function: Heat Press Operations Specialist Base Location: Export, PA Be the engine behind transforming raw materials into high-grade final products, leveraging specific measurements and the operation of sophisticated thermal presses. Top Responsibilities: Initiate preflight safety checks and sustain workplace order through 5S methodologies. Master the operation of 3-5 simultaneous press machines. Application of rigorous quality standards. Precisely enter production details into the ERP system. Experience a Typical Day: Analyze and execute the production lineup. Exceed established performance parameters. Capably operate pressing machinery. Record and interpret production and scrap metrics. Conduct interval-based quality inspections. Recognize and handle defective units properly. Smooth unnecessary mold lines as necessary. Sort molded items by part number in their respective containers. Complete end-of-shift duties adhering to 5S practices. Comply with all company rules and guidelines. Participate in additional tasks when assigned. Necessary Skills: Endurance for a four-day, ten-hour shift cycle. Capability to lift up to 30 pounds. Basic skills in reading and comprehension. Familiarity with Epicor is a plus; however, it's not mandatory. Elementary computer skills. Academic Qualifications: Must hold a high school degree or equivalent certification. Competencies Involve: Excellence in troubleshooting. Experience with deburring. Mathematical skills pertinent to shop needs. Technologies in Use: Thermal Process Technology.
