We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Resourcing Strategy and Markets at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.
The Head of Resourcing Strategy and Markets will lead the development and execution of Konexo US’s interim legal resourcing strategy while supporting the growth across Konexo’s other service lines in eDiscovery, litigation support, managed services, consulting, and financial crimes, and special projects. This role is both strategic and commercial, requiring a deep understanding of the legal services market, strong client relationships, and the ability to drive operational scalability. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Konexo US, Konexo Global colleagues, Eversheds Sutherland partners, and cross-functional teams within the firm to shape the go-to-market approach, optimize resourcing operations, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Market Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute market strategies to expand interim legal resourcing across key sectors including financial services, technology, and other regulated industries. Support the development of all Konexo services offerings by aligning market insights with client needs. Carry a sales target while contributing to pipeline development, client engagement, and revenue forecasting. Resourcing Strategy Optimize our existing scalable interim resourcing model to align with client demand and business growth. Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure timely and high-quality talent deployment. Maintain a strong bench of legal professionals and ensure readiness for client engagements. Coordinate with external vendors to develop the right eco-system of support across our various service lines. Client Engagement & Relationship Management Cultivate and expand relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders across target industries. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their needs are at the center of every decision. Lead client onboarding and engagement strategies to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention. Operational Excellence Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to support sustainable growth. Continuously iterate and improve internal processes to enhance service delivery and scalability. Leverage our leading technology platforms, data and insights to inform decision-making and drive efficiency. Brand & Market Awareness Partner with marketing and communications teams to build Konexo’s brand presence in the US while contributing to global initiatives. Develop and execute brand storytelling strategies that resonate with key audiences. Stay abreast of legal industry trends and translate insights into innovative client solutions. Collaboration & Leadership Act as a strategic partner to service line leads and internal stakeholders. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Develop junior team members across service linesPromotes and coordinates all the above with Eversheds Sutherland (US), Konexo Global, and Eversheds Sutherland globally. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university. 15+ years of experience in legal resourcing, consulting, professional services, or other equivalent business experience. Experience as an Am Law 100 attorney or in an operational/management role in an ALSP is preferred. Sales Experience- proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and negotiation skills. This involves understanding client needs, proposing solutions, and closing deals effectively. Proven success in client sales, relationship management, and engagement. Strong commercial acumen and ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Experience improving service delivery and operational scalability in a growth environment – doing so in a global law firm environment is a plus Expertise in brand strategy and market positioning. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Strategic thinking- ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth including identifying market opportunities and developing innovative solutions. Communication skills- strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients, presenting proposals and leading internal teams. Leadership abilities- demonstrable leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a collaborative work environment and drive performance towards common goals. Analytical skills- proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Ability to handle and experience working in a high-volume practice area managing multiple cases and deadlines
This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence 3 days per week. The salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The range for this position is from $116,600 - $315,000, with offers contingent upon the various factors. The firm’s compensation strategy includes not just a base salary but also comprehensive benefits such as healthcare, paid time off, discretionary merit bonuses, life and disability insurance, retirement plans and tailored learning opportunities.
