We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing company. This is a permanent role, requiring a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring that our company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.
Responsibilities
As a General Manager, your duties will include:
Monitoring overall business performance and reviewing KPIs. Ensuring company planning is in sync, including annual operational plan, sales plans, and budget plans. Identifying and monitoring all types of company risks, both internal and external. Tracking vendor network and health of customer diversity. Managing internal public relations - sharing highlights of work, progress, and wins with the team. Directing the generation and maintenance of the Annual Plan and budget. Developing and maintaining budgets, managing the operations budget, and proactively resolving situations before they become issues. Monitoring supplier and contractors’ performance and managing Estimator/Purchasing/Billing to minimize costs. Proposing, justifying, seeking approval for, and managing production, warehouse, logistics, and on-site installation capital projects. Developing and maintaining inventory control standards. Staying current on industry best practices and developing new solutions. Working with key customers to ensure company products and services are meeting expectations. Resolving cross-functional issues and researching industry trends. Seeking out interactions with all departments and ensuring efficient coordination at all team levels. Leading Sales Manager in management of sales, account, and project management team. Ultimately responsible for defining, creating, leading, and adjusting the company culture to the desired state. Ensuring the company is compliant with all regulations and providing employees with a safe and secure work environment. Managing office functions, building, and grounds.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry. Proven track record of successfully managing a company's financial and non-financial performance. Strong understanding of business performance metrics. Solid knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Outstanding communication and people skills. Knowledge of industry's latest technology trends and applications. Ability to think strategically and to lead. Strong client relationship management and customer service skills. Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
