We are seeking a General Manager for a Multi-Outlet Convention Center. This position will be based in the Detroit Metro area and will oversee multiple concessions outlets, events, meetings, and shows year-round. Our leaders are innovative, talent-driven, and manage offerings to clients by creating partnerships that result in a rewarding experience with a vision for the future, developing strategies that provide direct support to other leaders and teams while embodying our core values.

Convention Center General Manager Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of leadership in a stadium/convention center with a contract food service-related organization
10+ million dollars of revenue responsibility in F&B sales
Previous experience working in union environments
Success in leading teams of over 200 with direct oversight of department managers (20+)
Must have both catering and concessions management experience
Keen focus on relationships and the quality of the guest experience
A forward thinker who can work independently and resolve issues
A positive outgoing style of leadership to grow and develop teams and individuals
Strong understanding of delivering exceptional results without compromising standards
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and adjusting to meet and exceed financial objectives
Strong passion for food and knowledge of current trends
A professional who can be creative and also can sustain and improve existing operations
Strong written and communication skills at all levels
