General Labor- Meat Packers

IMMEDIATE START

We are seeking General Labors for a Food Packaging Plant in Fort Worth, TX.

In this role you will work in a meat packing, establishments performing precision functions involving the preparation of meat. Work may include specialized cutting standard or premium cuts of meat for marketing, making sausage, or wrapping meats.

Responsibilities
  • Remove bones, and cut meat into standard cuts in preparation for marketing.
  • Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash meat.
  • Tend assembly lines, performing a few of the many cuts needed to process meat.
  • Saw, split, or scribe meat into smaller portions to facilitate handling.
  • Grind meat into hamburger, and into trimmings used to prepare sausages, luncheon meats, and other meat products.
  • Work in a cold, and wet environment.
Requirements
  • Knowledge in: Butcher knives
  • Knowledge in: Meat package filling and sealing machines
  • Knowledge in: Shrink wrap meat packing machines
